Mrs Gilman the Media Specialist!



Mrs. Gilman is 
a native of Gwinnett County (since she was six!) in which she attended Brookwood High School where she was a part of the colorguard and played the clarinet in the symphonic band. After high school she attended The University of Georgia where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Language and Literacy Education.  She began her education career as an 11th-12th grade American and British Literature teacher at Peachtree Ridge high school where she taught for four years.  She continued her education at Georgia State University where she received a Master’s in Library Media Technology.  Her hobbies include spending time with her high school sweetheart (whom is now her husband), playing with her handicapped dog, Harley, reading anything she can get my hands on, riding her bike, and crossing things off of her bucket list!  She looks forward to serving you this year as your media specialist and seeing you in the media center. Stop by and say hello!
